Affliction League

Greetings fellow Exiles, today I bring you 3 top melee builds in POE 3.23, focusing on a crazy melee experience for those who love melee and personal combat.

These builds are designed to give you an edge in the match and focus on maximizing your damage output. Whether you’re a newbie or a veteran, these melee builds will give you a unique gaming experience. If you can buy POE Currency in advance, maybe this process would be faster. Without further ado, let’s get started!

Nightblade Flicker Strike Raider

Third place went to one of our super fast Nightblade Flicker Strike Raiders with Ranger Class. This is a build where we can have it all. It can easily reach over 10 million DPS. And it’s very tanky and, as you can see in the game, very fast.

Speaking of the advantages of this build, I must repeat what I just said. This is one of the most balanced builds I’ve ever played. It has super fast damage and survivability. It also has satisfying explosive gameplay. Let’s face it, Nightblade Flicker Strike Raider is pretty cool.

Now to list the cons, I don’t think this build comes cheap. You need some mandatory unique and rare items that will exceed the price of Divine Orb. Therefore, I recommend players with sufficient POE Currency budget to try this build.

Another issue is that you need to have a little control over your character. Otherwise, it can be a problem when you’re facing bosses like Atziri, Queen of the Vaal and Shaper. Because you need to know which clone to attack and be aware of your position.

Considering the budget, this build is expensive and not a starter build. You will need at least 6 Divine Orbs to complete the assembly of this build.

This build requires three mandatory unique items. The first is Farrul’s Fur Body Armor, which guarantees you’ll always be full of frenzy charges.

Next, we also need a Yoke of Suffering Amulet, which causes all your elemental damage to stun enemies, causing them to take more damage.

Finally, we need a Perseverance Belt that converts tanking into damage. It increases damage by 1% for every 200 points between Armor and Evasion. The good news is that each version of this build comes with over 30,000 Armor and Evasion.

For clear speed, this build is definitely a 10 out of 10. I don’t even have to talk about the gameplay. This is some serious anime swordsman stuff.

The boss damage of this build is also high, especially when you have access to Berserk skill. As you can see, it kills Guardians in less than two seconds. But I’ll only give it a 9 out of 10 because as we stack Rage harder, it does less damage to Pinnacle Boss.

I would also give this build a 9 out of 10 for its survivability. This build has nearly 100,000 effective HP because it has high Armor, high Evasion, Spell Suppression, over 30% chance to block, and high chance to Avoid Elemental Ailments. I’m just pointing it out that since you have a lower health regeneration rate, you’re vulnerable to poison damage.

Boneshatter Juggernaut

Next in line is this Tanky Boy, which is also fast and powerful, Boneshatter Juggernaut, with Marauder class.

This build is perfect for melee enthusiasts. Boneshatter hits enemies so hard that it damages your own character and stacks Trauma. With each Trauma, you deal and take more damage. That’s why it’s important to collect attack speed and armor to stack a lot of Trauma and take damage.

To list the pros of this build, I’ll start with its survivability. Even if you do damage to yourself, you won’t feel anything because this build has so much armor. Now, because of this, you might think this build would have to sacrifice speed for boss damage. But no, it’s still fast and can kill Guardians in just seconds.

Now to list the cons, the first thing that comes to mind is that you need to be careful about your accuracy. This is because Keystone Precise Technique increases damage by 40% if your precision is higher than your lifetime.

As for budget, this build is cheap and you can destroy early endgame maps with it and only need to have around 60 Chaos Orbs. To easily access Yellow Maps, I recommend investing in around 120 Chaos Orbs. To complete Atlas easily, I recommend investing in at least 4 Divine Orbs.

For clear speed, I will only deduct 1 point. Boneshatter also creates a massive pulse of damage when stunning an enemy. This means that one bow can kill an entire group of monsters. Besides your stacking tons of attack speed, your Leap Slam practically teleports you across the map.

Its boss also does a lot of damage and deserves a score of 9 out of 10. Because using Berserk on the boss will cause you to accumulate a lot of Trauma and deal tremendous damage.

This build is definitely a 10 out of 10 for this kind of survivability. I would even say 20 out of 10. If you could, this build could achieve nearly 200,000 armor and over 83% resistance to all elements. All of this, combined with Juggernaut Ascendancy, gives the character over 300,000 effective HP. This is crazy!

Cyclone Of Tumult Slayer

Finally, taking first place is the new incredible Cyclone of Tumult Slayer with a Duelist class.

Because POE 3.23 extension brings new Transfigured Gems. This means that Cyclone skill gets a new Cyclone of Tumult Gem. It’s a wider, more powerful Cyclone, but the downside is that it’s much slower.

However, with a simple trick, we can eliminate this shortcoming and simply increase Cyclone’s damage by 33% and range by 40%.

To list the pros of this build, I’ll start with its apparent clearing speed. It’s amazing how it’s always moving on the road and slaughtering all the poor enemies.

The boss’s damage is also incredible. Once the build is complete, you can even kill the big boss in seconds. Best of all, this build is very simple and easy to assemble.

Now listing the cons, I would like to point out several important issues. Please pay close attention to them. Here you can see that this build is very survivable once completed. But as you level up your character, you’ll need to adjust your progress since you’re always close to enemies. If you are not prepared, you will die. Therefore, take the extra time to learn more techniques before jumping into high tier content.

Another helpful tip regarding your survivability is how to deal with stun on this build. We got Stun Immunity with Charm in the new Wildwood Primalist Ascendancy. It’s super cheap and easily available. But if you forget, you’re going to have a bad day.

As for budget, you can destroy early endgame maps with it for only about 90 Chaos Orbs. In order to easily advance to Yellow Map, you need to invest approximately 115 Chaos Orbs. To easily complete your Atlas, I recommend investing in about 6 Divine Orbs.

For this build, you only need one mandatory unique item, Stampede Assassin’s Boots. It guarantees that your movement speed is always 150% of its base speed. This means that the negative effects of Cyclone of Tumult are meaningless to us.

I would give it a 9 out of 10 for clear speed. Cyclone never stops moving and has a vast area of effect. This way, you can farm your map without having to stop to cast spells or anything like that. It was outstanding and very satisfying.

Its boss’s damage is just astounding and deserves a solid 10 out of 10. When this build is complete, you will easily achieve over 15 million DPS. This is enough to destroy the boss in seconds.

Now, I would give it a 9 out of 10 for its survivability. This build achieved over 100,000 effective HP. Because of high Armor, high Evasion, Spell Suppression, Fortify and a lot of Instant Life Leech.

Now, with the immense area of effect bonus from Cyclone of Tumult, you don’t even need to be very close to the enemy in the endgame. This gives you more survivability.

Final Thoughts

That’s it for today. What do you guys think of my choice of melee build? Each of these builds offers a unique style of melee combat in Path of Exile, catering to different play styles and preferences. By using the right gear, skills, and gems, you’ll be ready to take on the most powerful opponents in the game. Good luck!
